The Gospel

Like my Pastor says sometimes “I want to talk to you about a very simple subject”…
The bible says that the Law and the prophets were until John(the Baptist).
John the Baptist was the messenger sent from God who prepared the way before Jesus Christ, but was ultimately and definitely before John the Baptist…oooooh!!! DEEP!!!!!
And when John saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and abiding upon him, he witnessed that Jesus was the Son of God.
John was sent to bare witness of the True Light; and the Father himself, which sent Jesus to Finish the work that the Father had given him, has borne witness of Jesus.
God loved the world so much, that he Gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. repent, and believe in the gospel." (Mark 1:14-15)
Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people (Matthew 4:23)
And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. (Matthew 9:35)
Jesus said to them, "I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, because for this purpose I have been sent."(Luke 4: 43)
Ladies and Gentlemen the Gospel is indeed “Good News” because to know that God has restored Fellowship to man by reconciling us back to him, and Forgiving us for our sins, that we could not get right with our own righteousness, but that it was done all by the Blood of Jesus Christ, the Great Sacrifice that he made for us, is wonderful to my ears and I hope to yours too.
This is the kind of Love that makes me just want to love more, and do the will of the Father.
Jesus did not speak of his own words but by the words that the Father gave him
And now we have that same commission, to preach the Gospel. We have been given the ministry of reconciliation.

We need to strive obediently to exercise the Will of God. I know in my own life, the obedience to the Word of God takes precedence over everything. Be Blessed until next time!

Self Examination

Well I shall say the blog that Min. Draper Wright wrote on entitled Kingdom Gym: "Proper Exercise", inspired me to blog a little on self examination, and like he said in his blog that interested me was that, self examination will reveal to us where we need the most exercise ...because I know personally there is constantly situations presented before me that are involved in the area where I need the most spiritual exerise; and it comes down to whether I will say what my flesh wants to say or say the things that will be uplifting and edifying. Ephesians 4: 31-32 says Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another , tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Another thing Min. Wright wrote was, To exercise means to practice or perform a similar action repetitiously for the purpose of training and discipline. So no matter what the circumstance I will not stop striving to Master this thing called taming the tongue, and other areas of my spiritual walk. We are a work in progress and we need to always strive for Masteries as 2 Timothy 2:5 says And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully. WE SHOULD NEVER GIVE UP; OUR MANIFESTED BLESSINGS ARE A BREATH OF FAITH AWAY ...So let us hold fast to the profession of Jesus Christ and know for a surety that like Philippians 1:6 says, Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:... Be Blessed!!!
